Mid-September Updates.

We are having a busy week here. We look forward to seeing many of you in Chicago next week! Albert, Evan and Dawn will be here holding down the fort so the store will be open and packages will be shipped.

Today we received a King and Country shipment - all orders going out today! We also just received 4 huge cartons of our Hobby Bunker and Paragon Scenics polyfoam diorama pieces. We will have them sorted tomorrow. We also received a restock of hobby supplies and some new car models today.

If you want to pick up anything at the show we need to know now!!!

We have a few pre-orders below as well as some new product information.

We have been carrying the hand made terrain made by John Gittens (JG Miniatures) for over 20 years. Sadly John Is retiring at the first of the year. We can take orders for a couple more months. For the most part we will be selling of just the existing stock. We can take orders for bit but you must buy - we are not taking unpaid pre-orders.

We just got a few shipments from the UK. We will have some Tommy Atkins, Fusilier Miniatures and an all new "King Charles" figure at the show next week.

The Bead Sellers, The Rendezvous, The Mountain Men, The Fur Trade

A mountain man was an explorer who lived in the wilderness. They were instrumental in opening up the various Emigrant Trails (widened into wagon roads) allowing Americans in the east to settle the new territories of the far west by organized wagon trains traveling over roads explored and in many cases, physically improved by the mountain men and the big fur companies originally to serve the mule train based inland fur trade.
