Royal Horse Artillery with 9-pdr Field Guns
The set contains 9 model soldiers comprising of 1 officer and 8 gunners plus two 9-pdr field guns on trail-block carriages. The heads and arms are interchangeable to enable the assembly of different postures.
These models are wearing the Belgic Shako to match with our Napoleonic British sets.
All models are supplied unpainted.
The Royal Horse Artillery is formed in 1793 and is an elite corps of the British Army during the Napoleonic Wars. The gunners wear the hussars’ braided jackets (called a dolman) and the elegant Tarleton helmets. All the men ride horses and are required to move at cavalry paces.
