The idea for this pair of figures came from one of my reference books that featured several great illustrations about the camp life of ordinary Roman soldiers while on campaign. Here we see a very irate Centurion ‘making a very firm point’ with his wooden staff on the chest of a luckless Legionary who has obviously upset him.
