Canadian Voltiguers (War of 1812)

The set contains 9 model soldiers comprising of 1 officer and 8 voltiguers.  The heads and arms are interchangeable to enable the assembly of different postures.

The Canadian Voltiguers was organized as light infantry and eventually reached battalion size, incorporating a couple of Canadian Chasseur companies and attached Mohawk Indian warriors.  It was prominent in many battles at the Great Lake region, fighting all the way to 1814.

Voltiguers are dressed as flank companies with the shoulder wings.  Their equipment are as per light infantry.  The officer is dressed in green as in the British Rifles.

The Canadian Chasseurs wears a similar uniform, except that they are issued the light infantry shako instead of the bearskin cap.  The set contains a couple of extra such heads for variety.

Released in JUNE 2023.
