February 5th Updates
February has begun with snowfall and cold temperatures. The past few weekends have been incredibly busy in the shop. The best time to find parking is early in the week, with Monday being the most favorable. Saturday afternoons and Sundays are also good options. During the week, we have been engaged in significant restocking efforts, with piles of boxes arriving daily. We just received the first of two racks of the AK Interactive "3G" paint line, and we hope the second rack will arrive in a few weeks. Additionally, we have a rack of "Mr. Hobby" paints by Gunze Sanyo on order.
We are uncertain about the potential impact of the tariffs currently under discussion. I recently placed an order with King and Country that includes the new Desert Tiger Tank. I will have to wait and see if I receive a 10% duty bill from FedEx. If that occurs, you may notice increased prices on certain brands or the possibility that Free Shipping may come to an end, as we won't be able to absorb all the costs. Fortunately, everything that is already in stock or available from local distributors is tariff-free!
We have recently added new products from John Jenkins, King & Country, and W. Britains. Our rare and retired section has been expanding, featuring dozens of sets and a variety of plastic toy soldiers. We are adding items almost daily, and these products are selling quickly. Additionally, we have been listing numerous auctions on eBay, showcasing hundreds of items—primarily metal and plastic soldiers and action figures in scales ranging from 1:32 to 1:6.
Our shop is fully stocked with a diverse inventory. The stunning limited edition, full-art alternative cover of the Monster Manual 2024/2025 has arrived—pick up a copy today! Furthermore, we have revamped our board game section and are now rating the games based on Board Game Geek standards. After reviewing last year's sales, we are focusing on expanding our larger categories. Our inventory of Bandai Gundam models, Games Workshop products, and Reaper Miniatures has been significantly increased, offering a fantastic selection. We consistently restock and introduce new items from the finest hobby and game distributors. Additionally, we buy and sell collections of toy soldiers, models, and games, ensuring that there is always something new and classic to discover! Visit us in person or browse our shop online.
Above is a wonderful picture of a man with his toys. These are 1/6 scale soldiers. It doesn't matter where you live or what your hobby is. Do what you love! We hope we can help you with all your hobby needs!
