  Hello, everyone. Is winter almost over yet? We just had a blizzard on Monday, then the sun came out, the temperature hit 40 degrees, and now we have mushy snow! I worked on Monday for half a day but never opened the doors, as Wakefield was more or less shut down for the day. Tuesday was a busy day this week, with two days' worth of shipments arriving all at once. These included King and Country, War Park, W. Britains, Universal (CCGs and games), Battlefront, AK Interactive, and Hobbytyme (models and paints). Hopefully, I will see some sun in California! Above is an actual diorama of Wakefield! - JUST KIDDING! - We have hit 60 inches of snow this year! The above is a 28mm Battle of the Bulge Game!

  February 18 NEWS!

  Hello, everyone. The sky is gray, and the snow is beginning to melt here this week. The shop has been busy all week due to school vacations. I am heading down to Virginia this Friday for my second show of the year. The weather looks good, so I expect to see many of you at the show on Saturday. In about two weeks, I will be traveling to California to run my sixth West Coast Toy Soldier Show on March 8th. I have attended every show in California since 1999! I am currently trying to finalize my show schedule for the spring. We will not have a local toy soldier show this spring but will hold the next one in October. The next local show I will attend is the Wings and Wheels IPMS model show in Chicopee, MA, on March 29th. We may also be helping out at the HMGS booth at the PAX EAST gaming convention the same weekend.

  Hello, everyone, It looks like we will finally have a week of decent weather. The snow is starting to melt. On February 1st, I attended the South Florida Toy Soldier Show and spent some time at the Royal Remington Toy Soldier Shop in Stuart, FL. Unfortunately, I brought the cold weather with me, and it was 31 degrees at the "outdoor" show. Craig Remington was a great host, and I hope to work with him next year to expand the show. I am currently trying to finalize my show schedule for the spring. We will not have a local toy soldier show this spring but will hold the next one in October. The next local show I will attend is the Wings and Wheels IPMS model show in Chicopee, MA on March 29th.

  Hello everyone, We wanted to give you a quick heads-up as we finish cleaning up after the recent major winter storm. Street parking is currently OK, and we were able to get some snow removal done in our back parking area. We did close early at 1 PM on Sunday, and while I stopped by the shop on Monday, we never officially opened the doors—so we lost a couple of days overall. As a result, some incoming and outgoing shipments were delayed. The good news: we are now fully caught up and all orders are shipping out as normal. Looking ahead, it appears another round of cold air and potential significant snowfall may be on the way. Because of this, our operating hours on Sunday and Monday may be affected.
