  Greetings! Business is as usual here at the Bunker, except for the loud noise Saturday. Apparently, a meteor was nearby and made a sound like an explosion! The shop has been really busy lately, and we continue working hard to keep the best sellers on the shelves. Don’t see something? Ask, and we can order almost anything hobby-related. After a couple of years away, Joe and I will be heading down to Historicon the following weekend in July. July 26th is the Toy Soldier Show in New Jersey. I will be attending the Plastic Warrior Show on July 4th in London. Then we will be at Iron Weld on July 11th and 12th at the Sheraton in Wakefield. Then Historicon, and finally the Toy Soldier Show in New Jersey on the 26th. My weekends will be busy in July, but I’ll be happy inside with the AC running! I will be out of touch for a few days. Need to get a deviated septum fixed!

  Greetings! Business is as usual here at the Bunker, except for the two days in the 90s! It’s hot outside but cool inside—after all, we are a bunker! I hadn’t been to the HUZZAH wargame show in Portland, Maine, in a while. I had a great time, rolled some dice, enjoyed a nice dinner, and stopped for BBQ at the "Rusty Can" in Byfield, MA, on the way home. It’s a great stop on I-95, about 30 minutes north of HB. The dice did not go my way in the Bolt Action tournament—I won one game and lost two. I will not be attending the May 30th Annandale, VA Toy Soldier show due to personal commitments that weekend. We will also be selling at Iron Weld in July, a local gaming convention. After a couple of years away, Joe and I will be heading down to Historicon the following weekend in July. July 26th is the Toy Soldier Show in New Jersey. I may also attend the Plastic Warrior Show on July 4th in London; I am just trying to book a decent ticket! But before all these shows, we are heading into Memorial Day weekend. We will be open regular hours. On Mother’s Day, I visited my mom’s grave. The next row over contains hundreds of graves for WWII and Korean War veterans who gave their lives for our freedom. As I walked among the graves and reflected, I realized she was well protected in that spot. There were four 37mm US anti-tank guns marking the area. Thank you to all that served and gave thier life so we could have abetter one. We received many goodies this week, including several cartons of hobby supplies such as paint, tools, primers, additional car model kits, snap-tights, and Gundam kits (5/20). We also received the new "1st Step" contrast paints by Pro Acryl.

  Greetings! Business is as usual here at the Bunker. We will be attending the HUZZAH wargame show in Portland, Maine, this weekend. I will not be attending the May 30th Annandale, VA Toy Soldier show due to personal commitments that weekend. We will also be selling at Iron Weld in July, a local gaming convention. After a couple of years away, Joe and I will be heading down to Historicon the following weekend in July. July 26th is the Toy Soldier Show in New Jersey. I may also attend the Plastic Warrior Show on July 4th in London; I am just trying to book a decent ticket!   Hello, and welcome to the merry month of May! While it may not be as merry as Christmas, you can give yourself the gift of Christmas every day with a purchase at "Da' Bunka!" Business is as usual here at the Bunker. Our next event will be the HUZZAH wargame show in mid-May. We will also be selling at Iron Weld in July (a local gaming convention), and after a couple of years away, Joe and I will be heading down to Historicon the following weekend in July. July 26th is the Toy Soldier Show in New Jersey. I may also attend the Plastic Warrior Show on July 4th in London! Many have asked about the London show scheduled for Saturday, May 9th—unfortunately, I will not be attending.

  STORE NEWS Hello, just the weekly newsletter to sift through! Business as usual here at the Bunker. I am now rested from my two trips to Pennsylvania. I have just posted 80 pictures from the show on Facebook. I took my youngest son with me to help out. We left early last Thursday and explored some history in Philadelphia. We stopped at Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, the Rocky Statue, and—wait, what?—Top Golf! Our next show will be the HUZZAH wargame show in mid-May. This week, we received numerous new shipments, including products from Games Workshop, Hobbytyme (a hobby distributor), Paragon Scenic (foam), John Jenkins, King and Country, Battlefront, Our Game Distributor, W. Britain, and more!
