Well we are into summer and it was near 100 in Boston yesterday. Time to hit the air conditioning and play with our soldiers I guess. Metal Toy Soldiers King & Country This Coming week we will be receiving there latest D-Day American Sets. Later in July there will be many additions to the WWII Fields of Battle Range as well as a handful of 1938 German Ceremonials. We also have a handful of new very limited Warbird Airplanes coming in. Sad news from Hong Kong

I just wanted to share some sad news. Howard, Gerard's partner at Frontline Figures has passed away this week after a hard fight with cancer. Howard was a great guy if you got to know him at all. He was a quiet a man but he usually opened up at the Bar in Chicago or at the West Coaster. I always enjoyed chatting with he and Gerard and was able to form a good friendship over the last 9 years. Howard will be sorely missed by all. Our thoughts and prayers are with Howard, Gerard and everyone at Frontline Figures and their families and we are deeply sorry for the loss. We hope everyone has been enjoying their summer! There has been a lot of whacky weather throughout the country including extreme temperatures, heavy rains, etc. and we can't wait for some normalcy. I had pants and a long sleeve shirt on Sunday morning and was back to sweating on Monday (humidity). I guess we will have to wait and see what the fall has in store for us. Snow in New England! What else is new?

A few things of note.... We will be attending the Detroit Toy Soldier Show on Jan. 29th. Check out the events page for more details. We are expecting a King And Country re-stock this week including the new Napoleonic Calvary. Also due in this week are several new sets from Hat Industrie as well as two new tanks from Armourfast (1/72). We just added the new additions to the W.Britains Metal Toy Soldier range for 2005. All sets that have been discontinued and we still have in stock have been listed under the W. Britains Retired section. The retired sets are in limited supply and we will be removing them from the site as we sell out. Please note that there was also a price increase. The prices were raised on December ST, 2004, we held of on raising them for the last for months for your benefit. If you experienced any diffuculties navigating through our site it was due to an interference to our web host. SBC Communications had some type of a malfunction in there system in Northern California which affected over 100,000 websites. We reduced all our prices on Forces of Valor. The prices reflect about a 17% discount of our old prices. We were just as unhappy as you were when Panache Place raised there prices earlier this year. So we think we've come up with competitive pricing that we'll all be happy with.
